Library services

Here is a brief description of the library's, its services and where to find more information if needed.

As an employee, you are welcome to borrow material and search in our databases.

The LTH Library is located in the A-building and welcomes both students and staff. In addition to the university’s own goals and operational plans, the library's activities are governed by the Higher Education Act and the Library Act. The Library focus areas are information provision and information literacy.

The library’s educational activities aim to develop students’ ability to search for, critically evaluate, and use information – in other words, their information literacy.

The Library also offer support programs and access to talking books for people with special needs. If you have a reading impairment that makes it difficult to read printed literature, please contact the Library for support.

More information about the Library's services

On the Library's website you will find information about the library’s opening hours, contact details, and library education for students.

You can also read more about the Library's reading and writing support and find links to search tools and databases – for example, the library catalog LUBcat and the university-wide search portal LUBsearch. You can also see which databases are available at Lund University.
