How we introduce LTH
Here you will find a short story about LTH, which you can use in your communication. It also presents LTH's five areas of benefit, which show how LTH wants to contribute to the development of society and the world around us.
LTH – introduction
At LTH – part of Lund University – we educate people, build knowledge for the future and work hard for the development of society. We create space for brilliant research and inspire creative advancements in technology, architecture and design. We have nearly 10,000 students. Every year, our researchers publish around 100 theses and 1,700 scientific findings. Together we explore and create – to benefit the world.
LTH's five core areas
In order to create a strong and effective narrative, LTH is also introduced alongside our five “core areas” that explain how our activities contribute to the development of society and the world around us.
The five areas are a response to major societal challenges as identified by the UN, the EU and the Swedish Government, among others. They are designed to enable us to enter into new partnerships in research and innovation, and they also help us to recruit students – the problem-solvers of the future.
LTH – A place for dreams and discoveries
You can read more about LTH's vision in the brochure Dreams & Discoveries, available in English and Swedish.
