Professional and careers development

At Lund University and LTH, we want to be an attractive workplace that invests in continuous professional development, with the aim of attracting, developing and retaining both administrative and academic staff. One important tool in this work is the performance appraisals. Lund University also offers a wide range of professional development courses.

Management development/new in management

Entering management means taking on a new role in the workplace, a role with different expectations and responsibilities than one of a staff member. As a manager at Lund university, you will have staff, operational and budget responsibility, irrespective of whether you are employed in an academic or administrative capacity. The task of management is defined through three roles; as an employer, leader and operations manager.
