- LTH Research Programmes Board (FUN) has the overall responsibility for doctoral education, including quality responsibility at LTH with respect to strategic goals set by the LTH Board. LTH Research Programmes Board
- LU Research Programmes Board deals with strategic education matters in education at doctoral level where a decision at faculty level is inappropriate owing to their University-wide nature. - Research Services offers researchers and research groups support and assistance in matters of external research funding for, among others, US government funders, Horizon Europe – the EU's framework programme for research, and Swedish funders with central management (MMW, KAW, etc.). - Swedish Research Council's needs inventory The Swedish Research Council (Vetenskapsrådet – VR) carries out an inventory every two years with the aim of identifying areas with clear needs for new or developed research infrastructure.
